Fantastic place. My dog always comes home happy and I feel happy leaving her there. Staff are very friendly and she is very well looked after.
Thank you all so much for taking such good care of Basil. He's come back happy, well fed and full of love and fun. It means so much knowing that Basil is being cared for by people who obviously love and respect my dog. It takes all the worry out if leaving him, allowing me to relax and enjoy my own holiday. Basil loves spending his holidays at Longcroft and looks on it as a second home. 🐾🐾🐾

Very helpful staff in our moment of need while we were on holiday.
This is a fantastic vets. The amount of care and passion they give to not only the animals but also the owners is amazing. There's a quick service ie test results, follow up appointments and phone calls. They really do care about the animals welfare. I have been to other vets and none have ever phoned up a day following surgery in regards to my cats well being; it's just that extra bit of customer/patient service that makes a difference. Their pricing isn't as expensive as other vets either, which is great. we all know how high vet bills can get. It's a brilliant vets and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants guaranteed care for their companions.

Abdul is marvelous. I've been taking PPSBJ to him, with various problems, since I got him 8 years ago. The cat came to me at the age of 10. He had been top cat in his previous neighbourhood so our first problem was a nasty paw injury after he'd picked a fight. The antibiotics didn't heal the paw, so the next visit, Abdul gave the strongest possible antibiotic dose and the last resort would be exploratory if that didn't heal it. Voila, the paw healed. As it was an ongoing query, the consultation fee seemed lower, like it does too when Abdul requests to see the pet to check on its progress after several repeat prescriptions. The cat is now 18 (88 in human years) and is treated daily for arthritis and hyperthyroidism. PPSBJ went missing in May 16 for 24 hours. My partner had gone around the neighbourhood and had managed to coax the cat back home. We were just so cock-a-hoop to find our poor cat. We took him to Abdul, and the cat had developed early dementia and had become confused. Abdul keeps our little boy well, safe and very happy, despite these little health problems. He is a great vet, a lovely family man and he's very witty and perceptive too (he must have been able to detect during my first short appointment that I cluck around my cat as he surprised me with "remember, he's not a dog, leave him be" 😅. He cares about the pets and the owner's wallet too, and boy does he work hard!
I consulted Abdul following many recommendations from other dog owners after moving to Derby. He has impressed me with his dedication kindness and empathy in treating my beagle, seeing him at short notice whenever necessary. The staff are all extremely knowledgeable efficient and friendly and I had no hesitation in leaving my pet for treatment knowing he would be kindly and well cared for overnight. Thank you everyone from Hector.
